About the RoleElectrical Engineer II – Production Support in the Advanced Radar Products Department. Work on complex radar products and test sets, providing production support under the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead.
Key Responsibilities- Manage component obsolescence identification and mitigation.
- Troubleshoot test sets down to component level, including analog/digital interfaces and software.
- Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/module and component levels, including analog/digital/RF/power circuitry and interfaces.
- Work in a team environment to maintain production and sustainment timelines.
- Analyze test data to ensure specifications are met.
- Read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings (assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, schematics).
- Provide daily on-site support.
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with electronics and electrical circuits and root-cause failure analysis.
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings.
- Proficiency with lab equipment: multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers.
- Experience working on a production program.
- Active, transferable U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret) before start date.
- U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance).
- Experience with supplier engagement.
- Experience documenting test results and engineering recommendations clearly and concisely.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with Mentor Graphics, Matlab, or PSPICE.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with leadership and colleagues.
- Competitive salary ($68,900-$131,100).
