Program Obsolescence Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform and/or assist in the execution of strategic program Parts, Materials & Process Management Plans (PMPMP)
• Interface with Designers, Supply Chain, Program Management, and other IPT disciplines to collaboratively identify and resolve component obsolescence and shortage issues
• Create periodic reports, summaries, and presentations to leadership and customers
• Track and report status of technical issues relating to drawing and specification changes
• Provide technical support to procurement and engineering for potential technical component alternatives/resolution recommendations

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience with product development life cycles
• Previous experience with product development life cycles as it applies to electronics manufacturing processes
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical data packages (TDP)
• Must be eligible to apply and procure DoD Secret Security Clearance within 1-year of accepting position
• Understanding of the Parts Manager role including familiarity with parts, suppliers, and basic aspects of parts obsolescence.
