We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join the Airborne & Ground Optics Department in McKinney, Texas. The role covers the mechanical design process from concept to model/drawing completion for components needed to support product builds, with possible assembly of your designs. You will work with Chief Engineers, Lead Engineers, and product engineers;

some hands-on hardware work in a lab environment may be required.

• Utilize RTX tools including CREO modeling software and Product Data Management (PDM).
• Provide design and documentation support using engineering tools, Adobe, and MS Office suite.
• Execute engineering change processes and drawing releases.
• Perform analytical and technical engineering work within a program environment; prepare and deliver design presentations as needed.
• Learn and apply Raytheon processes and procedures.
• Assist with building hardware in a lab environment as required.

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with less than 2 years of prior experience.
• Experience with 3D modeling software (CREO, Solid Works, or equivalent).

• Electromechanical design experience.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written).
• Strong organizational, coordination, planning, teamwork, and communication skills (written and oral).

Security clearance: DCSA/DoD process. The salary range is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD, with final offer based on role, responsibilities, experience, location, and qualifications.
