As a Senior RF Production Support Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting a development program within the Airborne RF Electronics Design Department. You will be working as a member of a team that is responsible for developing testsets to support a production program onsite under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in McKinney, Texas.
What You Will Do:- Work in a team environment that will assess production testing design coverage for all levels of test from special test equipment to assembly, test, integration, and verification.
- Stand up testsets to support a production run in the McKinney compact range area to meet the production program requirements.
- Troubleshooting testsets down to component level to include analog/digital/radio and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces and software.
- Resolution of issues on production support testsets in NTX.
- Work in a compact range environment and lab environment.
- Use cPDM and PRISM SAP to support drawings and requirements.
- Interpreting, generating, updating, releasing and applying engineering drawings, including testset drawings, assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, harnesses, cables, and schematics.
- Train and mentor early in career team members.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with electronics and coding
- Experience with the use of measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
- Experience with compact antenna ranges and measurements.
- Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance prior to the start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with troubleshooting electronics.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.
- Experience with Matlab and Labview.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with leadership and colleagues.
- Experience with troubleshooting cables and harnesses.
- Experience with troubleshooting production RF testsets and RF systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting testsets including measurement equipment, electromechanical devices, controllers, near field measurement, and subsystems.
- 10+ years of experience in test and troubleshooting
