We have an exciting opportunity for a Automation Systems Engineer II. As an Automation Systems Engineering team member, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of automation solutions and advanced IIoT / Industry 4.0 technologies in support of manufacturing. The role includes developing automation solutions for manufacturing equipment and their integration with business systems using a variety of Industry 4.0 tools (Splunk, Ignition or Aegis Factory Logix).

Qualifications you must have:
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- Experience with database administration in SQL
- Python, C#, Powershell or other scripting experience.
- Data analysis experience.
Qualifications we Prefer:
- Active DOD Secret Clearance..
- Strong communication skills including the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with deploying complex IIOT based systems.
- Ignition, Splunk or Aegis Factory Logix development experience.
- Professional experience with the full life-cycle deployment and integration of automation systems
- Good knowledge of safety regulations (e.g. OSHA) and electrical compliances.
- Experience with control systems design (AutoCAD preferred).
- Manufacturing experience in Microelectronics or Circuit Card Assembly

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
