Digital Hardware Design Electrical Engineer ; Onsite

Job responsibilities of this role include activities such as troubleshooting electronics in a lab or production environment, performing system and circuit level analysis, supporting failure investigations, maintaining and creating documentation, hardware and/or logic design, and interacting with multi-disciplinary groups including suppliers.

• Designing digital and analog circuits
• Testing electronic hardware
• Operating and automating test equipment in a lab environment
• Analyzing, modeling, and simulating electronic designs
• Component selection for electronic designs
• Layout and routing support of printed circuit boards

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• Experience with one or more of the following:
  Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing, or PCB design.

• Digital, Analog, and/or Power electronics coursework.
• Lab experience with hardware/software integration, test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control.
• Demonstrated experience with VHDL or Verilog coding, simulation, and synthesis.
• Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting using common lab equipment.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
