- Participating in the development and implementation of model-based solutions to support mission trade studies using mission and engagement level simulations.
- Responsible for the development and integration of variable-fidelity computer models and simulations that effectively capture system and system of systems effects in complex threat environments.
- Modeling of system and mission kill chains using Government, Commercial, and/or Raytheon simulation tools.
- Executing mission system simulations and analyzing their results.
- Development of metrics and results products that communicate the chain of events that led to an action.
- Participating in technical reviews with internal and external customers.
- You will contribute and collaborate in a team environment, receiving input from the program, external customers, or team experts, and work on projects, as you determine, develop, and implement analytic approaches that will generate the supporting data to inform programmatic decisions.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- Experience working with scripting languages including Python, MATLAB, Bash, or other common languages.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Experience in Sensors (RADARS, EOIR, etc.), Network Communications, Weapons/Effects (Missiles, Projectiles), Command & Control, and/or Resource Management.
- Experience with Military Operations Analysis, Modeling & Simulation experience in the defense industry, and/or data analysis & visualization.
- Experience with standard government modeling tools including AFSIM, Suppressor, Brawler, or similar tools.
- Ability to understand tactics as described by military experts and to represent their employment (verbally, graphically, and in simulations).
- Familiar with performing data analysis and statistics with large volumes of data.
- Familiar with Numerical Optimization Techniques, Analysis of Alternatives, or Design of Experiments.
- Experience providing briefs and presentations to US government customers.
