The Airborne RF Electronics Design Department is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Production Growth Test team. As a member of the Production Growth Test team, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive testability analysis to enable expanded capability for Advanced Programs products from module to system level testing. You will also assist with the development and modeling of Test Requirements using proven digital engineering tools.
This is an onsite role, located in McKinney, Texas.
- Develop, review, and maintain engineering schematics using capture and board layout tools
- Manage and maintain full requirements traceability, ensuring alignment between models, schematics, and all verification artifacts
- Support development of Built-In test (BIT) and associated diagnostic requirements
- Plan, execute, and support DVT and Qualification testing to validate design performance and compliance.
- Implement system design, architecture, and program requirements in MBSE using Cameo to maintain model‑driven consistency.
- Design, capture, evaluate, and optimize fault detection and isolation strategies using DSI eXpress
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with engineering schematics using capture and board layout tools
- Experience developing and/or maintaining BIT Testing, Qualification, and/or DVT
- Experience with model-based diagnostics, test optimization, and/or model- based system engineering tools
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance post-start is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Background in component, subsystem, and system-level testing
- Experience collaborating across Engineering disciplines to develop and implement subsystem MBSE models
- Proven ability to refine and optimize test processes to improve verification rigor and efficiency
- Skill in evaluating schematics and system architecture to identify testability gaps and recommend targeted design improvements
- Hands‑on experience with MVT (Minimum Viable Testing) activities, including hardware integration, issue resolution, and performance validation
- Familiarity with advanced BIT, diagnostics, and test optimization methods that increase coverage and reduce cost
- Ability to manage schedules and resources effectively to meet program milestones
- Experience with Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
- Familiarity with DoD or customer test processes and structured verification environments.
