Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. The Staff Technician will be responsible for testing of antennas and arrays on indoor and outdoor ranges in support of Advanced Product Center factories, engineering, and product development.
Test and troubleshoots antennas. Operate a variety of electronic equipment. Observe, analyze and report test data. Assist in the development of procedures. Utilize various engineering drawings, manuals and other related documentation in the performance of their tasks. Configuration/data management. Check for work correctness. Be responsible for training/mentoring junior range technicians.
Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Experience in a electronics industry or equivalent military electronics experience. Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
Qualifications We PreferWork directly from approved procedures, schematics, and verbal instructions. Troubleshoot electronic circuits to component level and effectively identify failure trends. Isolate problems between the test environment (test station, interface adapter, test cables, etc.) and the units under test and resolve as necessary. Select appropriate test equipment and configure it based on test specification. Communicate technical issues by generating comprehensive failure entries which correlate failure modes back to the associated test specification(s).
Interpret test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters, etc.) to determine pass/fail condition and determine when further analysis is needed.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Location - McKinney TX North Texas.
The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
