Job Summary
The Financial Analyst is a highly motivated professional responsible for supporting the division leadership and department managers through critical financial analysis, variance analysis, and process improvement initiatives. This role involves leading budgeting and forecasting processes, assisting with internal controls, and ensuring accurate financial reporting as part of a collaborative team environment.
Job Responsibilities- Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting activities.
- Participate in the month‑end closing process, including preparing journal entries, reviewing financial statements, and fulfilling corporate reporting requirements.
- Perform variance analysis on overhead expenses to identify key drivers and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist with internal control activities to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Support ad‑hoc projects and financial analysis as assigned.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant financial or accounting experience.
- Excellent analytical and technical accounting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, research, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Deadline‑driven and self‑motivated.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- CPA designation or CPA eligible.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- Master’s degree in accounting or finance, or MBA desired.
