Overview
The Electronic Attack Systems (EAS) Finance team has an opening for a Program Cost Control Specialist to support the externally reported MBX development program ($190M cost-type contract) within the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) portfolio. This role provides financial support, analysis, and oversight for the MBX Program within the NGJ portfolio.
Responsibilities- Partner with program managers and functional stakeholders to support weekly and monthly reporting, Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting, Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) management, financial forecasting, Monthly Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDAR) external reporting, and program leadership reviews.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including LRE development, internal and external earned value requirements, and financial variance analysis.
- Manage coordination, development, and delivery of monthly financial Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
- Perform cost and schedule control analysis to support compliance with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Prepare and analyze quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs), including cost analysis, risks, and opportunities.
- Generate and support Baseline Change Request (BCR) and Schedule Work Authorization (SWA) processes.
- Provide ad hoc EAS program controls support, as required.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Earned Value Management and Estimates at Complete (EAC).
- Defense industry experience in program finance, including financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and program performance reporting.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with IPMR/IPMDAR reporting.
- Experience using Raytheon financial tools and systems including APEX, BW, and RPlan.
- Experience performing financial analysis, issue identification, and resolution activities.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and supporting process improvement activities.
- Experience communicating financial and program information across organizational levels.
- Experience working independently and managing assigned responsibilities.
- Prior Program Controls experience.
- Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
