Engineering Business Analyst (Financial Analyst) – Grade P3

This role supports Engineering Product Team Leads, Control Account Managers, and Program Leads in monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) inputs, reporting and analysis; monthly Budget Change Requests (BCRs); facilitation of EAC and LRE inputs; and cost and schedule control using APEX/SAP EV, IMS, and PMX management tools.

• Support creation of quarterly Estimated At Completion (EAC) and monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LRE) for programs, products, and mission areas.
• Perform detailed EVM and financial analysis for budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions.
• Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts.
• Analyze cost and labor runs weekly and develop variance reports.
• Partner with engineering and program leads to input EVMS data, develop EAC/LRE, and forecast cost and schedule.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to drive predictable results.

• Minimum 5years of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree, or 3years with an advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience using SAP, APEX, or similar systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, or other government procurement regulations (preferred).
• Ability to work effectively with coworkers and manage processes within a work area.

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD (depending on experience).
