Client Service Specialist

Location:

McKinney, TX | Full-Time

Calander Wealth, a growing and high-performing advisory practice, is seeking an experienced Client Service Specialist to join the team. This role is designed for a professional who can step in with industry knowledge, deliver a high level of client service, and quickly integrate into an established, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Relationship Support

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client service needs
  • Deliver a high-touch, responsive client experience
  • Build trust with clients through professionalism and follow-through

Account Management & Operations

  • Process account opening, maintenance, and service requests
  • Coordinate with custodians and internal partners to resolve client needs
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness across all client transactions

Meeting Preparation & Execution

  • Prepare client meeting materials and documentation
  • Manage follow-ups and ensure completion of action items
  • Support advisors with both pre- and post-meeting workflows

Systems & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within CRM systems
  • Assist with financial planning documentation and processes as needed
  • Ensure compliance with firm and regulatory standards

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services client service or operations
  • Strong understanding of wealth management workflows and client lifecycle
  • Experience working within CRM systems (Salesforce/Ameriprise preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • FINRA licenses (Series 7 and/or 66 strongly preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with in a financial advisory or wealth management practice
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools (e.g., Money Guide)

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive benefits package designed to support your health, financial well-being, and work-life balance:

  • Base Salary: $63,000 – $70,000 (commensurate with experience) – exempt bonus potential
  • Health Benefits (eligible after 60 days) $300/month employer contribution toward medical coverage (when enrolled in company plan)

  • Tax-Advantaged Accounts Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options Dependent Care FSA (up to $5,000 pre-tax annually)
