Position Overview
Engineering Business Analyst (Grade P3) – Hybrid role. U.S. citizenship is required. The position supports Engineering Product Team Leads, Control Account Managers, and Program Leads with monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) inputs, reporting and analysis, Budget Change Requests (BCRs), and facilitation of Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) inputs. The analyst will use APEX/SAP EV, IMS, and PMX management reporting tools to drive cost and schedule control.
WhatYou Will Do
- Support the creation of EACs on a quarterly basis and LREs on a monthly basis, including cost estimation, test of reasonableness analysis, and risk/opportunity assessment at the Program/Product/Mission level.
- Perform detailed EV and financial analysis to budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions.
- Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts.
- Collaborate with engineering and program leads on EVMS process inputs, EAC/LRE development, variance reporting, and weekly cost and labor run analysis.
- Demonstrate ability to analyse data, prepare reports, and communicate results to drive predictable cost and schedule outcomes.
- A university degree (or equivalent experience) and minimum five years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum three years of experience.
- Experience using SAP, APEX, or a similar system.
- Experience with MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and/or other government procurement regulations as they pertain to bid/cost proposals.
- Knowledge of managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within a work area.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers.
- Competitive salary range: USD 86,800 – 165,200.
