Job Summary
Entry level Finance Program Cost Controls Analyst – supports a portfolio of programs within the LADS SBU and Product Support (MA&S) business area. The analyst receives training in real‑world business tools such as the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process for Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance, Annual Operating Plan preparation using the Business Planning (Rplan) system, and business software packages including SAP/APEX and Business Warehouse to provide in‑depth analysis for financial reporting of program funding profiles, bookings, sales and earnings outlook, forecasting, billing projections and variance analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial support from the startup phase of proposal support and costing through mature phase of Inter‑Organizational Transfer (IOT) processing, baselining, and budgetary creation.
- Conduct sales forecasting, cost control and analysis for assigned programs.
- Deliver comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
- Assist in the development and implementation of program cost and control strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or a related business field.
- Less than 2 years of relevant finance experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint).
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Professional experience in a related finance role.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑starter with a strong sense of ownership.
- Detail oriented and well organized.
- Willing and able to learn new systems, tools and processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a high‑performance team setting.
