Job Description
Position Objectives:
We are a growing outpatient therapy clinic focused on compassionate, patient-centered care. Our team is committed to developing individualized treatment plans that foster recovery, independence, and overall well-being. We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Physical Therapist to join our team, with the potential for full-time opportunities as our client base expands.
- Provide outpatient physical therapy care, utilizing strong clinical skills and judgment.
- Efficient and timely documentation of daily patient notes, progress reports, and observations.
- Build strong rapport with patients, ensuring a supportive and empathetic environment.
- Adapt treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient while maintaining flexibility for diverse diagnoses.
- Educate patients on rehabilitative exercises, promoting health, safety, and independent living.
- Consistently monitor patient progress, adjusting goals and treatments in line with the established care plan.
- Collaborate with other physical therapists and physical therapist assistants to provide seamless, high-quality care.
- Develop creative, individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
- Continuously educate and instruct patients on exercises and activities to support their recovery journey.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment goals and plans as necessary.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of daily observations, treatment plans, and patient progress.
- Make referrals to other team members as needed for additional treatments or services.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Current CPR certification.
- Outpatient PT experience is preferred but not required.
- Dry Needling certification.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to assess and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive patient relationships.
- Dependable, resourceful, and responsive to patient needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a team-oriented setting.
- Effective time management skills, capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
