Mohs Medical Assistant - Mckinney at Dermatology & Skin Cancer Surgery Center / Affiliate of Preferred Dermatology Partners, Inc. Our office is looking for a Medical Assistant for our busy dermatology practice. We are in need of an individual who has previous dermatology Medical Assistant experience. Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment, have strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. The qualified candidate must be friendly, professional, confident and personable.

• Room patients, set up for procedures, assist with biopsies and other dermatological procedures.
• Utilize the computer to chart patient visits into the electronic health record (EHR).
• Keep exam rooms stocked, cleaned, and organized.
• Clean and sterilize instruments.
• Take medically relevant patient phone calls.
• Call in prescriptions and refills at the direction of the provider.
• Ensure all reports are in the patient s eHealth record for follow-up visits.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Teamwork is essential.

• Experience using EMA/Modernizing Medicine is essential.
• Previous dermatology medical assistant experience preferred.
• Ability to travel between clinic sites and work occasional Saturdays.
