Horizon Rehabilitation Hospital is an innovative, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered healthcare services to our community. As a newly established in-patient rehab hospital, we are committed to setting new standards in patient care and rehabilitation. We value compassion, excellence, and teamwork, and we are looking for a compassionate, experienced Patient Care Tech to join our team. The shift will be 7a-7p.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for directing the orderly flow of unit and patient related data. Responsible for communications through the answering and initiation of telephone calls, written messages, and the organization and completion of the various charts, requisitions, reports and other forms. Also assists with patient care duties, such as bathing and feeding of patients.

Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a medical clerical field preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

LANGUAGE SKILLSEnglish is the primary language of the facility. Ability to read and write, communicate clearly with co-workers and customers and to respond to appropriate questions regarding work process or work product.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals as appropriate to the position.
