Project Manager, IT Project Manager, Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex technology initiatives focused on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and enterprise data transformation. This role will be responsible for managing projects that involve cloud platforms, data migration, data modernization, analytics enablement, and cross-functional coordination between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in project delivery for cloud and data initiatives, understands the lifecycle of data transformation programs, and can effectively manage scope, timelines, risks, resources, and stakeholder communication in fast-paced environments.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects involving Azure, Microsoft Fabric, data platforms, analytics, and data transformation.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate internal teams including cloud engineers, data engineers, architects, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate project planning sessions, status meetings, steering committees, and executive updates.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, resource plans, and project documentation.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation across data and cloud transformation efforts.
• Oversee delivery of projects such as:
  • Azure cloud migrations
  • Microsoft Fabric implementations
  • Data warehouse modernization
  • Data integration and ETL/ELT initiatives
  • Reporting and analytics platform deployments
  • Data governance and data quality initiatives
• Track project progress and proactively address roadblocks, escalations, and changes in scope.
• Work with technical leads to translate business requirements into actionable project plans.
• Manage communication across executive sponsors, client stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams.
• Support change management, user adoption, training coordination, and transition to operations.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality expectations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience leading technology projects.
• Proven experience managing projects involving Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and/or data transformation initiatives.
• Experience delivering projects related to cloud migration, data integration, reporting, analytics, or enterprise data modernization.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure Dev Ops, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar.

• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification.
• Experience with:
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Synapse Analytics
  • Power BI
  • Microsoft Purview
  • SQL-based data platforms
  • Data migration and transformation programs
• Familiarity with data governance, master data management, and data quality concepts.
• Experience working in consulting, managed services, or client-facing delivery environments.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud adoption frameworks, and data modernization best practices.

Preferred candidates should have exposure to or understanding of:

This job will start of in the office and then can be hybrid after 90 days.
