Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze and organize raw data with a systematic approach to Plan, Create, Maintain data architectures and also keeping it aligned with business requirements.
• Build data systems and pipelines by obtaining data from right sources.
• Evaluate business needs and objectives to drive solutions.
• Extraction, Transformation and Loading the data directly from heterogeneous source systems.
• Dive into data and pinpoint tasks where manual participation can be eliminated with automation.
• Interpret trends and patterns to determine whether the model fits into data.
• Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling to find potential outcomes.
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability to create better decision‑making insights.
• Identify opportunities for data acquisition.
• Conduct complex data analysis and report on results.
• Develop analytical tools and programs.
• Conduct research for industry and business questions.
• Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects.
• Deliver updates to stakeholders based on analytics.

Required

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.

Work location: McKinney, TX with required travel to client locations throughout the USA.
