Salesforce Senior Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Architect to lead the discovery and assessment phase of migrating a legacy .NET-based application to Salesforce.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, Financial Services Cloud (FSC), and a strong background in the Life Insurance domain.

This role involves capability mapping, gap analysis, integration planning, and data migration strategy to define a scalable Salesforce solution aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops to assess the current .NET application landscape and gather business and technical requirements.
• Conduct capability mapping between the legacy system and Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
• Perform gap analysis to identify custom development or configuration needs.
• Define a high-level solution architecture incorporating best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
• Develop integration strategies with external systems and internal platforms.
• Create a roadmap for data migration, including modeling, cleansing, and transformation planning.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, and architects to define implementation milestones.
• Provide input on cost estimates, resource planning, and project timelines.
• Document findings and recommendations in a formal discovery report.

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 6 years as a Salesforce Architect.
• Proven experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and other Salesforce Clouds.
• Strong understanding of Life Insurance processes, policy administration, and client servicing workflows.
• Experience migrating or integrating legacy applications (.NET stack preferred) into Salesforce.
• Expertise in Salesforce data modeling, security, and platform architecture.
• Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns (REST, SOAP, APIs, middleware tools).
• Experience with data migration tools such as Data Loader, Informatica, or Mule Soft.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Application Architect, FSC Accreditation) are a plus.

• Based in or near Dallas, TX or open to hybrid engagements.
• Prior experience working with Life Insurance carriers or financial institutions.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in financial services.
• Experience with Agile project methodologies.
