Varicent ICM Technical Lead
Seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead with deep expertise in Varicent ICM (Incentive Compensation Management), strong background in ICM SaaS migration, and extensive experience in the Life Insurance domain. The candidate will drive end‑to‑end solution delivery, modernization initiatives, and compensation transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end Varicent ICM implementations and enhancements, including design, development, testing, and production support
- Drive ICM SaaS migration programs, including assessment, migration strategy, execution, and post‑go‑live stabilization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate agent compensation rules and commission structures into scalable ICM solutions
- Ensure accuracy and validation of complex compensation calculations across Life & Annuity products
- Define and implement data validation, reconciliation, and ETL frameworks for ICM platforms
- Lead cross‑functional teams (onshore/offshore) and manage delivery governance, risks, and stakeholder communication
- Partner with product and business teams to ensure seamless alignment between legacy and SaaS‑based ICM solutions
- 17+ years of IT experience with strong delivery leadership capabilities
- Deep expertise in:
- 5+ years Varicent ICM (Comp) and Varicent ELT development
- 5+ years designing and implementing sales compensation systems
- Proven experience in:
- 5+ years migrating Varicent ICM on‑prem to SaaS platforms
- Leading large‑scale ICM SaaS transformation programs
- Strong understanding of:
- Life Insurance domain, including agency/agent compensation models
- End‑to‑end insurance systems (policy admin, new business, compensation, portals)
- Hands‑on experience in:
- SQL, ETL, and data modeling
- Integration with upstream/downstream systems
- Experience working with global teams and managing complex, multi‑stream programs
- Varicent Certification (V10 or higher)
- Strong domain certification (e.g., LOMA/ALMI)
- Experience in cloud environments and modern data platforms
- Agile/Scrum leadership experience
Minimum 8 years Data Intelligence experience
Compensation & BenefitsNTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.‑based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $122,648–$204,412, depending on experience, skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
