Albers Aerospace is seeking its first Vice President of Supply Chain Operations — a transformational leader who will architect and institutionalize a compliant, efficient, and scalable supply chain function from the ground up. This is a senior executive role with company-wide impact, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.

The VP of Supply Chain Operations will establish all supply chain systems, processes, and teams necessary to support Albers' multi-site, multi-NAICS operations while achieving and maintaining full compliance with U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable government-mandated requirements including property management and purchasing system approvals.

The ideal candidate blends the agility and resourcefulness of a small business operator with the discipline and process rigor of a large defense prime — and understands that compliance and speed are not mutually exclusive. This leader will be a team builder, a warfighter advocate, and a key architect of Albers' next phase of growth.

• Design and implement Albers' enterprise supply chain strategy, policies, procedures, and organizational structure to support a $300M+ and growing defense business.
• Build, recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing supply chain team across multiple sites, establishing clear roles, accountabilities, and professional development paths.
• Serve as the executive champion for supply chain within the company, collaborating with operations, engineering, finance, contracts, and business development leadership.
• Drive a culture of urgency, ownership, and warfighter focus — ensuring supply chain never becomes a roadblock to mission delivery.

• Establish and maintain a FAR/DFARS-compliant purchasing system, to include formal policies and procedures sufficient to withstand DCAA and DCMA review and approval.
• Develop and implement a compliant Government Property Management system in accordance with FAR Part 45 and DFARS 245, including receipt, identification, records, utilization, and disposition of Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP).
• Ensure all procurement activities and subcontract flow-down requirements comply with applicable FAR, DFARS, and agency supplement clauses.
• Lead preparation for and management of CPSR (Contractor Purchasing System Review), GPAR (Government Property Audit Review), and other government system reviews and audits.
• Maintain working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and export control requirements as they relate to procurement and supply chain activities.
