Facilities Maintenance Attendant – Invited – McKinney, TX

Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Attendant is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and overall cleanliness of the club’s facilities, ensuring all areas meet the highest standards of functionality, safety, and appearance. This role requires proactive attention to detail in maintaining indoor and outdoor spaces to provide an exceptional environment for members and guests.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain carpets, floors, and furniture through vacuuming, spot cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
  • Dust and wipe down all surfaces including furniture, halls, ceilings, HVAC registers, walls, and artwork.
  • Complete daily assignments to meet club standards, including organized work areas, entry area organization, and trash/ debris removal.
  • Perform or contract facility maintenance and housekeeping repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, building equipment, carpentry, flooring, walls, ceilings, and special projects.
  • Maintain a preventive maintenance checklist and upcoming improvement schedule.
  • Coordinate, prioritize, document, and complete work requests from Department Heads, members, and guests.
Additional Duties
  • Assist others as needed and perform additional tasks assigned by management.
  • Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Maintain professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
  • Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others.
  • Take initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain required certifications.
  • Address and resolve challenges using available resources and support teams.
  • Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of general facility, property maintenance, or golf club experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing minor repairs, painting, plumbing, or other related maintenance tasks.
  • Training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, electrical codes, and compliance related facility maintenance.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, driving.
  • Occasional exposure to temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases.
  • Squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, bending.
  • Lifting up to 100 lbs. on occasion.
  • Talking, hearing, seeing.
