AboutThe Role
This position will be leading, coordinating and tracking all activities required to ensure each of the DFW and Louisiana area shops including the Main Warehouse in Mckinney are fully stocked and have the ability to insure minimal downtime for the fleet. In addition, this position will be in charge of meeting with vendors and exploring more opportunities for cost saving measures beyond our national pricing.
This position will also be in charge of conducting monthly cycle counts for each location and will over see the quartly counts for these locations as well.
- Prepare a plan with the Fleet Management team to reduce NET and excess inventory value
- Implement better and standardized process across DFW and LA warehouses
- Work directly with each shop to determine and implement inventory efficiency
- Implement Safety measurement according to company safety policies
- Continuously train warehouse personnel to maintain the knowledge required for the job
- Lead, Implement and track warehouse projects
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience in Inventory Management
Required Technical
Skills:
SAP or similar, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Project.
Travel Requirements: 50% including occasional travel to New Orleans, LA
Additional Requirements- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
