The Controller is responsible for handling high-level accounting, managerial accounting, and oversee the financial activities of the company. Manage and supervise all aspects of accounting from payroll to tax compliance. Assists with the development of internal control policies, procedures, and financial planning.

• Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions.
• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
• Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process.
• Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed.
• Developing and monitoring business performance metrics.
• Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance.
• Oversees the accounting staff and manages the day-to-day processes of that department.
• Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist CFO with special projects as needed.
