TITLE: SEAL Program Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Special Projects Manager
LOCATION: North Central Texas Workforce Solutions
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temporary – Full‑Time, Non‑Exempt Employee

Job Summary

The SEAL Coordinator works closely with the SEAL Lead to design and implement training and placement support for VR SEAL trainees through the SEAL Summer Work Experience Program. The role is fully onsite and is expected to run from March through August, contingent on program funding.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement a quality work experience program for SEAL participants.
  • Outreach VR SEAL referrals to provide program information and encourage engagement.
  • Communicate with SEAL Manager regarding issues needing VR partner engagement.
  • Act as program liaison with SEAL trainees and guardians to provide information needed for successful and compliant work experience.
  • Conduct work readiness training with VR customers in compliance with the SEAL Plan.
  • Assist in matching SEAL customers with available SEAL worksites.
  • Process SEAL participants for enrollment into the ADP system.
  • Guide customers (and guardians) through enrollment activities and documentation for compliant SEAL enrollment and wage payment systems.
  • Schedule and perform New Hire Orientations and Worksite Supervisor Orientations; document orientations.
  • Maintain timely and complete worksite visit documentation.
  • Manage and conduct analysis of work experience activities to ensure policy implementation.
  • Oversee worksite activities to assure child labor law compliance.
  • Manage time sheets and payroll distribution; resolve paycheck and timesheet issues.
  • Track and document outcomes and manage contractual goals related to the SEAL Program.
  • Obtain and review performance evaluations from employers; take appropriate actions.
  • Approach tasks with a "ZAG" mindset.
  • Perform other duties and projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required;
    Bachelor’s degree or higher, or four years of combined education and relevant experience, preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience combining training, counseling, case management, or related services.
  • Substantial case management experience; ability to read and interpret policies and procedures.
  • Experience working successfully with individuals with disabilities.
  • Ability to work with a culturally diverse customer base in a culturally sensitive manner.
  • Role model and motivational skills for customers.
  • Personal computer literacy (Internet, e‑mail, Microsoft Office).
  • Exceptional time‑management skills; meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Compensation and Logistics

Pay Rate: $17–$19 per hour.
Travel: 15% within and outside the designated worksite.
