Position
Capacity Expansion Director – Counter Unmanned Aerial Defense (C-UAS)
LocationMcKinney, TX – 2501 W University Dr, Wing A, Bldg
Security ClearanceU.S. citizenship required. Active DoD Secret clearance must be obtained prior to the start date.
Responsibilities- Develop a comprehensive capacity expansion plan for the CUAS portfolio, coordinating with the CUAS Leadership team.
- Work with RTX Government Relations, DoW Acquisition & Sustainment, and Personnel & Readiness to explore workforce pilot programs and secure government funding.
- Integrate and expand the REL factory in the UAE and manage future international expansion initiatives.
- Conduct strategic assessments to determine investment paths, including supplier, RTX, and customer investment, design changes, and quality/requirement relaxation.
- Interface with internal and geographically dispersed teams to ensure clear and consistent communication.
- Plan and execute rapid capacity increases at the CUAS supply base.
- Align priorities and provide direction while actively managing risk, cost savings, and schedule mitigation.
- Facilitate goal‑alignment activities, including participation in the annual strategic plan, flow‑down, catch‑ball, and control tower.
- Travel to customers, suppliers, and DEO teams to communicate vision and drive execution.
- Lead research, analysis, and leadership initiatives to align with business objectives.
- Provide multidisciplinary team leadership, conduct internal/external program reviews, prepare proposals, manage suppliers, and report program status.
- Direct program task elements—engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, contracts, finance, and administrative functions—to meet gate review and financial requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree with 14 years of experience OR advanced degree with 12 years of experience.
- PMX Level 3 or higher certification.
- Prior P&L experience across the full program life cycle.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
- Six Sigma (CORE) Expert or PM Certification Level 3 preferred.
- Program management experience in multiple phases of product development.
- Competitive salary range: $186,200 – $353,800 USD.
