Senior Highway Project Manager
We are looking for a Senior Highway Project Manager to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring that the scope, schedule, and budget are maintained. This role involves project planning, including the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates, and overseeing quality assurance/quality control processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are maintained.
- Develop project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Oversee QA/QC processes and maintain project management plans.
- Build and maintain detailed project schedules and track performance metrics.
- Manage subconsultants and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare progress reports, review invoices, and lead project presentations.
- Lead proposal efforts including Go/No-Go decisions, strategy, and interviews.
- Partner with leadership to identify new opportunities and foster growth.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and industry network.
- Support strategic planning efforts aligned with client programs and goals.
- Guide and mentor project teams through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Foster a culture focused on quality, collaboration, and client service.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
- 15+ years of experience in engineering/project management.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with business development and client-facing work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in project management, project engineering, design, and project coordination.

Pay and Benefits
