General Manager – Facility Operations

The General Manager oversees all aspects of a single facility and its respective P&L, leading teams across production, quality control, maintenance, and planning to ensure efficient operations, meet production targets, maintain quality standards, and achieve business goals. The role also manages facility financials, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives, and serves as the facility’s spokesperson at monthly Cost At Completions (CAC) meetings.

• Operational Leadership
  :
  Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, forecasting, resource allocation, and workflow optimization. Monitor and manage production metrics such as output, efficiency, and scrap rates.
• Quality Control
  :
  Oversee quality control processes to ensure product consistency and compliance with standards.
• Financial Management
  :
  Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, control costs, analyse financial data for cost reduction and profit optimization, and manage inventory and procurement activities.
• Team Leadership
  :
  Lead and motivate a cross‑functional team of supervisors, managers, and production personnel. Provide training and development opportunities and foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem‑solving.
• Safety and Compliance
  :
  Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures within the manufacturing facility, investigate incidents, and promote a strong safety culture.
• Strategic Planning
  :
  Identify and implement strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and productivity, analyze market trends and customer needs, and align manufacturing goals with overall company strategy.

• Minimum 15 years of applicable manufacturing operations experience, preferably in the modular space.
• Experience managing a book of business of $150million or more.
• Strong understanding of client expectations and the ability to implement processes that ensure 100% satisfaction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Oracle and change‑management software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience).

Travel:
Up to 10% of the time. Working environment includes long periods sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, and occasional lifting of up to 30lbs. Operations occur primarily indoors with standard office lighting and air conditioning; noise level is usually low to medium, but may be louder on construction sites.
