Associate Director, Program Manager – EOIR Air Force Programs

Job OverviewLead the USAF MQ‑9 Program portfolio execution across multiple contract types, ensuring performance across cost, schedule, technical, quality, and contractual commitments.
Key Responsibilities- Accountability for profit and loss, AOP, and financial metrics for the portfolio.
- Provide career coaching to direct‑reporting program managers.
- Direct the cross‑functional team supporting the product line to meet established targets and metrics.
- Identify and react to problems, supporting solutions such as allocation of resources and operational execution.
- Represent the organization in interfaces with key internal and external stakeholders to present a positive image.
- Manage and grow customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support annual 5‑year LRP, monthly forecast, and weekly SRO efforts for the business.
- Lead proposal and negotiation activities with domestic customers, industry partners, and suppliers.
- Prepare, revise, update, and monitor required documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements and Raytheon’s Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM).
- Develop executable program plans, manage transition risks, and drive consistent, predictable execution.
- Present program data and critical issues to APS, EOIRS, and mission area leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 10 years of experience.
- Experience leading profit and loss related activities as a program manager.
- Experience leading development, production, and/or sustainment programs with government customers.
- Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance using program management tools such as EVMS, IMP/IMS, and/or Risk & Opportunity management.
- Program Management Certification (PMP, Raytheon PM Certification, or equivalent).
- Experience leading programs within EO/IR systems, ISR platforms, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), or comparable advanced sensor technologies.
- Experience in supplier management and major subcontract oversight.
- Demonstrated success developing strategies for execution and growth across franchise or multi‑program portfolios.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to interpret and manage complex program requirements and supplier commitments.
DoD Clearance:
Secret. Active and existing clearance required after day 1.
USD 157,200 – 298,800 per year.
