Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

• Seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to perform a variety of mechanical assembly operations in support of technologically advanced products.
• The ideal candidate will work from detailed work instructions, procedures, and engineering documentation to complete high-quality builds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• This role requires strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

• Perform mechanical and basic electronic assembly operations
• Follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and engineering documents
• Perform basic soldering (required)
• Conduct basic troubleshooting during assembly processes
• Document build records accurately and thoroughly
• Utilize hand tools, computers, and special tooling daily
• Interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Move materials as needed throughout the assembly process
• Maintain a strong safety mindset and follow all procedures

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electronic or mechanical assembly
• Military training in building and/or troubleshooting mechanical components may be considered equivalent
• Basic soldering experience (required)
• Basic assembly troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• IPC or J-STD certification (preferred, not required)
• Experience in electronic, optical, or mechanical assembly processes
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work across multiple shifts and occasional weekend work
• Enthusiastic self-starter who works well in team environments

• High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or 2-year post high school technical training)

• Shift: 1st Shift (5:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
