Candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in a manufacturing/production environment, at our McKinney, TX location. The candidate will also be asked to have flexibility to work across shifts/off shift/ weekends as needed.
What You Will Do- Work with composite prepreg material.
- Tool prep for layup.
- Apply cut graphite or glass prepreg plies to tool. After cure de-tool part and remove flashing and prep part for secondary bonding.
- Powered and non-powered hand tools used throughout process.
- Bond hardware to composite parts using adhesives.
- Follow build instructions, read blueprints and technical data.
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with composite materials, and use of hand tools in a manufacturing environment.
- U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Operate process equipment.
- Ability to train and qualify on multiple processes.
