Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Operator to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves mechanical assembly, precision work, and adherence to strict quality and safety standards within a cleanroom setting.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with small components, following detailed instructions, and performing hands‑on assembly tasks that support cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mechanical assembly using various hand tools, fasteners, and precision torque tools
- Assemble machined housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors, and optical assemblies
- Conduct soldering, repair, and inspection of electrical and mechanical systems
- Perform detailed hand manipulation including wire sleeving, soldering, and bonding materials
- Work safely with approved chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines
- Obtain and maintain required process certifications
- Cross‑train in multiple production areas to support daily manufacturing needs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, cost, and schedule
- Work limited overtime as required to meet production demands
- Experience in mechanical and/or electronic assembly within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow strict procedures
- Experience using hand tools, torque tools, and soldering equipment
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions
- Willingness to obtain required certifications
- Flexible to support overtime as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
- Manual dexterity to handle small components and perform fine detail work
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
