Job Description
- Looking for a highly motivated individual to help us succeed in any domain against any challenge for a safer more connected world.
- As an Assembly Operator, your job will be to build next generation technology for the war fighter.
- You will perform a variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing/production environment.
- Duties for this position includes working in a cleanroom environment, performing mechanical assembly using various tools and fasteners.
- Types of hardware include: machined housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors, and optical assemblies.
- Will be using chemicals and performing detailed hand manipulation with wire sleeving, solder, and bonding materials.
- Additionally, the operator will be required to use precision torque tools, solder, repair and/or inspect electric and mechanical systems.
- This position also requires the operator to pass certifications and to work limited overtime when needed.
- The operator is expected to cross-train for other areas and be engaged with daily production activities that drive continuous improvement in cost, quality and schedule performance a variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing/production environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience
- Experience working with minimal supervision
- Self-Motivated
- Ability to read, understand and follow test instructions including technical drawings and testing process documents
- The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for 8+ hours a day is required
- Ability to work weekends and/or overtime as required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Years of Experience

- Ability to train others in assembly processes once certified
- Experience using shop floor management software (CMES, SAP, etc.) or similar
- High school, secondary school or equivalent
- Technical certificate or Associates degree is preferred
