This role will support acceptance testing functions on both production and development/prototype products within the Advanced Product Center (APC) in McKinney, TX.
The selected candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks and testing functions in support of a manufacturing/production environment on 1st shift. This position will work directly with engineering on production support and troubleshooting activities.
Key Responsibilities- Apply problem-solving skills to proactively identify alternate solutions to technical challenges.
- Fault-isolate issues and assist in resolving problems between the test environment (test stations, interface adapters, test cables, etc.) and devices under test.
- Observe, analyze, and report test data.
- Select and set up appropriate test equipment based on specifications.
- Interpret test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters) to determine pass/fail conditions and elevate when further analysis is required.
- Utilize hand tools, torque tools, analyzers, and power tools.
- Support production and troubleshooting efforts in a manufacturing environment.
- AA/AS degree (or other 2‑year post high school training) OR minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, drive share mapping, and basic computer programs.
- Experience performing product testing using procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and related documentation with limited supervision.
- U.S. Person verification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of testing experience (STEM education may substitute for experience).
- Experience using oscilloscopes, pulse generators, programmable network analyzers, signal generators, multimeters, and other test equipment.
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, aviation, or naval environments with hands‑on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection.
- Experience working with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation databases/tools.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Frequent use of hands for handling tools, components, and test equipment.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds.
- Good manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
- Ability to visually inspect components and test results, including reading detailed documentation and test data.
- May require bending, reaching, and working in a production/manufacturing environment.
