Make Surfaces Last — Join Prysmian as an Industrial Coatings Technician
Prysmian leads the world in energy and digital connectivity solutions — from underground and submarine power transmission systems to medium- and low-voltage cables for construction and infrastructure, plus optical fibers, copper cables, and connectivity for voice, video, and data. In 2024, our North American footprint expanded with the acquisition of McKinney, Texas–based Encore Wire, one of our most advanced single‑campus manufacturing operations.
With 9,000 team members in North America and 35,000 globally, your work with Prysmian truly matters.
At the start of your shift, you inspect surfaces — wood, metal, plastic, aluminum, stainless, and more — and prepare them meticulously for coating. You’ll brush-and-roll latex, oil‑based, and epoxy paints, verify precise color using charts, fan decks, and labels, and, when needed, leverage spray equipment to achieve a flawless finish. Throughout the day, you safely operate lifts, ladders, and power tools, troubleshoot equipment and mechanical issues, and handle heavy materials in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Reliable transportation keeps you punctual; flexibility keeps you ready when workloads require evenings, weekends, or holidays.
- Starting pay: $25/hr
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Regular hours may also run Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with flexibility for weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
