A day in the life

At the start of your shift, you inspect surfaces — wood, metal, plastic, aluminum, stainless, and more — and prepare them meticulously for coating. You’ll brush-and-roll latex, oil-based, and epoxy paints, verify precise color using charts, fan decks, and labels, and, when needed, leverage spray equipment to achieve a flawless finish. Throughout the day, you safely operate lifts, ladders, and power tools, troubleshoot equipment and mechanical issues, and handle heavy materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Reliable transportation keeps you punctual; flexibility keeps you ready when workloads require evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Compensation & schedule

Starting pay: $25/hr

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.Regular hours may also run Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with flexibility for weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

What you’ll do Apply coatings using brush-and-roll methods across latex, oil-based, and epoxy systems.

Prepare varied substrates (wood, metal, plastic, aluminum, stainless, etc.) for paint application.

Operate lifts, ladders, and power tools safely and effectively.

Assess color accurately using charts, fan decks, and labels.

Leverage knowledge of spray equipment (a plus) to support production demands.

What you bring

High School Diploma or GED.
2+ years in commercial and industrial paint/coating applications.

Reliable transportation and schedule flexibility.

References are helpful but not required.
