Manufacturing Engineer II – Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC) – McKinney, TX
Raytheon is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC) factories in McKinney, TX. You will be responsible for controlling and improving manufacturing processes, including composite layup and curing, mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, coating, and structural bonding.
Responsibilities- Develop improvements for manufacturing processes.
- Resolve problems preventing products from meeting customer requirements.
- Document production processes.
- Transition development programs to full production.
- Coordinate efforts with operations management, quality engineering, and assemblers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Experience writing instructions for manufacturing processes.
- Root cause and corrective action (RCCA) experience preferred.
- Experience with factory operating systems (CMES, PRISM) preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with large teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- B.S. in mechanical, chemical, materials, electrical, or composites engineering (preferred).
- Competitive salary range: $68,900 – $131,100.
