What You Will Do
- Support the Microwave Automated Factory (an ISO Class 8 clean room environment) in high‑volume, high‑mix production with on‑site responsiveness to equipment, process, material, and product problems.
- Support assembly processes involving automated epoxy component attachment and Radio frequency (RF) Assembly.
- Work hand‑in‑hand with product engineers, quality engineers, reliability engineers, and manufacturing engineers on product manufacturing.
- Develop and implement materials, processes, process improvements, and production support using established statistical process control techniques, experimental designs, material analysis, mechanical design analysis, and root‑cause analysis.
- Evaluate materials, equipment and processes (including qualification, acceptance testing, and specification development) and interface with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.
Shift: 1st Shift (6 AM – 2 PM) – onsite.
Qualifications- AA/AS degree or equivalent 2‑year post‑high‑school training with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with automated assembly equipment.
- Experience with Windows Operating Systems, MS Word and Excel.
- Experience in a cleanroom environment, following cleanroom and electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures.
- Experience with automated dispense, pick‑and‑place, and curing processes.
- Experience working on a team.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and problem‑solving ability.
- Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret clearance).
- Experience with automated assembly equipment and process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with statistical process control and experimental design methods.
- Prior experience in a cleanroom environment with RF microelectronic packaging.
- Salary range: $60,000 – $114,000.
