Forklift Operator, Manufacturing Production
Summary
This position requires someone who is detailed and team oriented. Has the ability to follow procedures and adapt well to change. They will also be responsible for the safe transportation of products between storage facilities.
Position2nd Shift
Hours1pm-9pm. Additional O.T are mandatory when required by business demands.
Must take a Standup Forklift Test in a cold environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Shipping
- Receiving
- Forklift operation
- Production Support
- Safe operation of company vehicle/ and inspection of equipment
- Adhere to necessary insurance regulations to be on company driver policy
- Responsible for completing required paperwork accurately and honestly
- Must adhere to all company policies, GMP’S, SOP’S and Safety regulations
- Adhere to all allergen control programs and procedures
- Responsible for reporting suspicious packages, activities and individuals
- Level II: the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally in English as it pertains to individual position.
- Ability to calculate figures using basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to figure out weights and pieces of what’s being asked for.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software;
Manufacturing software and Spreadsheet software.
- Candidate will be required to be able to operate various pieces of equipment, including Forklift, electric pallet jack and box or straight truck.

The employee is frequently required to stand;
walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and elements of outdoor weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
