Warehouse & Shipping Associate

Position Summary

Cookies-N-Milk, Inc. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse & Shipping Associate to support warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and production support activities. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments within a fast-paced food manufacturing facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts safely to load and unload trailers.
• Receive, store, organize, and distribute inventory throughout the facility.
• Pick and pull products to accurately fulfill customer orders.
• Build, wrap, label, and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Store finished products in freezer storage areas.
• Stage ingredients and materials for daily production needs.
• Maintain warehouse, freezer, refrigerator, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Collect, sort, and organize empty pallets throughout the facility.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory control activities.
• Follow all company safety, food safety, GMP, and quality standards.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with additional warehouse and production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse and shipping experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull products and materials.
• Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods while wearing protective freezer gear.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a food manufacturing facility with exposure to warehouse, refrigerated, and freezer environments. Employees may be exposed to machinery noise and food allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat, and soy. Personal protective equipment is provided and required.
