Job Overview

Prysmian, a leading manufacturer of wires and cables, seeks a Paint Technician to join its team in Mckinney, TX. The role includes applying latex, oil‑based, and epoxy paints using brush and roll techniques, preparing diverse surfaces, and ensuring optimal coating performance. The position is full‑time, 7 am–5 pm, Monday‑Friday.

Location: 910 Elm St, Mckinney, TX, 75069.

Schedule: 7 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday.

Starting Pay: $25 per hour.

• Proficient in brush & roll painting techniques.
• Knowledge and use of spray equipment (preferred).
• Ability to operate lifts, ladders, and power tools.
• Must be able to distinguish colors on charts, fan decks, and labels.
• Dependable transportation.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Must be willing to undergo an onsite drug screen.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in commercial and industrial paint and coating applications.

• Apply latex, oil‑based, and epoxy paints using brush and roll techniques.
• Prepare surfaces (wood, metal, plastic, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.) for paint application.
• Ensure proper surface preparation for optimal coating performance.

• Repetitive movement.
• Frequent walking throughout the facility.
• Kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
• Use of hands to operate tools, parts, and equipment.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. while bending, twisting, and standing.
