A Day in the LifeAs a Multiline Cable Production Operator, you’ll step onto a busy manufacturing floor where up to five machines—Armor, Cabler, and Packaging—depend on your steady rhythm. You’ll complete start‑up checks, verify guards and sensors, and bring equipment online. Throughout your shift you’ll rotate between stations, gauge dimensions with calipers, adjust with wrenches and sockets, trim with knives, confirm lengths with tape measures, and keep all lines running safely and efficiently.
You’ll clean and organize your area, follow OSHA and Prysmian safety standards, and report any concerns immediately. When priorities shift, you’ll coordinate with supervisors to support production goals and keep the team moving forward.
