Mechanical Assembler
Location:
McKinney, TX 75071 Duration: 12 Months Contract
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Job OverviewThis position is part of the Thick Films/Lids Group involved in wafer fabrication and related processing activities. The selected candidate will be responsible for manual tasks, operating semi and automated processing equipment, and performing rework. The role will include using microscopes, adhering to detailed written work instructions, and documenting non-conformances in our Factory Operating System (FOS).
Key Duties- Setup shop orders and operate ovens
- Perform manual assembly and soldering tasks
- Use microscopes for inspection and precision tasks
- Follow detailed written work instructions
- Create non-conformances and rework in FOS
- Complete annual training requirements on safety, hazardous materials, and quality systems
- Experience in manufacturing, microelectronics, aerospace, or defense industries
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Basic computer (MS Office) and math skills
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and adhere to quality standards
- Experience working with microscopes
- Soldering experience to Military/ANSI/J standards
- Microelectronics or manufacturing industry experience
- Strong focus on safety and teamwork
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline
Experience:
Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience
