Description
JOB SUMMARY:Prepare and inspect gearbox units including parts/parts orders for shipment to customers while ensuring the units and parts are packaged according to customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- For painted units, remove all tape/prepping material.
- Add nameplates, assembly lids, hardware as required by order.
- Package and weigh unit.
- Using the NORD Gear Warehouse Management System (SAP), prepare shipments.
- Prepare and package parts orders.
- Clean work/storage area, check inventories.
- Assist prep/paint area when requested.
- Other duties as requested.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years preferred but not required.
- Experience utilizing SAP preferred.
- Experience with 5S.
- Ability to read/write.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 8
-10 hours/day.
