The effective candidate will perform a wide variety of testing in support of a manufacturing/production environment.
- Troubleshoot and retest, electrical, and mechanical assemblies.
- Set up and operate a variety of test equipment.
- Check for work correctness, including testing the assembly and rework of electronic and mechanical assemblies.
- Perform circuit card preparation, installation, crimping, and torquing using hand instruments.
- Perform in accordance with written work and test instructions to prescribed standards.
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation data bases and tools
- Experience working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in the repair, installation, and inspection.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to detailed work instructions and quality standards
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Experience with the use of common hand instruments (screwdrivers, sockets, ratchets, torque tools and analyzers, etc.)
- Communicate effectively, motivation for continuous improvement, develop more than one job at a time, and have the flexibility to work across shifts.
- Ability to work with production resources and teammates to meet production goals.
- Perform in-process inspections in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.
