Nurse Educator

You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan‑of‑care intervention and serving as a patient‑care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting‑edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. This position is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master’s Degree preferred.
• Licenses:
  Registered Nurse.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor;
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Instructor;
  Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor.
• Required Skills:
  
  critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• FLSA Classification:
  Non‑exempt.

• Develop and deliver in‑services and continuing education for nursing and auxiliary staff.
• Provide educational offerings and materials based on the identified needs of staff and the Nursing Education Council.
• Serve as a knowledge base and resource to consult with and educate nursing, medical staff, students, and ancillary staff members.
• Coordinate, teach, and facilitate certification courses (BLS, ACLS, PALS, and other courses as requested and trained/capable to teach).
