Shift/Schedule
Full Time Nights. 3 12‑hour shifts per week. Shift time: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Requirements- Minimum of 2 years acute care or medical‑surgical registered nurse experience.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – McKinney as a Registered Nurse on our Oncology unit. The unit is fast‑paced and includes high‑acuity patients. We provide an environment focused on learning, mentoring, and teamwork.
Patient population includes mostly medical and surgical oncology patients. Occasionally patients receive IV chemotherapy.
Patient ratio: 1:4. Number of beds: 16.
We are a Commission on Cancer–recognized hospital and a Sammons Cancer Center. We offer Nurse Navigators, Child Life Specialists, and a fully staffed Supportive and Palliative Care Team. All oncology nurses are expected to become chemotherapy certified within the first six months of employment.
