RN – Registered Nurse PRN

RN Responsibilities
  • Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practice consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet resident needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
  • Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
  • Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders.
  • Implement and evaluate care plans.
  • Identify and secure equipment supplies.
  • Direct and oversee subordinates.
  • Participate in duty assignments.
  • Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
  • Oversee and monitor function and activities of subordinate staff.
  • Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate action, discipline or training.
  • Monitor infection control compliance.
  • Investigate and document accidents or incidents.
  • Other duties as assigned.
RN Requirements
  • Current, valid RN licensure required.
  • Experience in long‑term healthcare preferred.
  • Management or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
  • Strong written and verbal skills required.
  • Access to automobile and home insurance marketplace.
